Position: Bartender
Reports to: Bar Supervisor
Department: Food and Beverage

The Role

Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Main duties include:

- Greet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests,
- Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards
- Check identification of guest to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol,
- Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures,
- Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts,
- Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies,
- Serve snacks of food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate,
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions,
- Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glasses and utensils
- Provide guidance to guest on dining options and general venue information
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Experience: Previous bartending experience required
Education: The ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field
Core competencies: Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

Packages:
4 500 AED / month + Accommodation - Transportation - Food allowance - Medical Insurance – Flight ticket to Europe every 2 years – 1 month off paid – Opportunity to have 2 or 3 months off non paid to work for instance during the summer in Europe.
