Teaching :
- Preparind courses, lessons and classes (cuisine), - Teaching, according to the students needs including the setting and marking of their work to be carried out in school, - Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress of students, - Providing guidance and advice to students on educational matters and on their further education and future careers, - Participating in meetings which relate to students welfare and isses, the curriculum for the school, its administration and organisation - Providing and contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual student, - Maintaining good order and discipline among pupils in accordance with the corporate policies.

- Meet and exceed Food GP budget
Leadership
- Lead by example, setting the pace and standards, - Praise and recognise good performance, - Deal with poor performance through informal reprimands and when necessary corporate disciplinary procedure, - Pro-active in problem solving, - Can work on own initiative to deal with problems and opportunities, - Liaise and report to the HEAD CHEF, - Interview for new kitchen staff member with the school principal as and when required, in line with corporate recruitment policy,
Delivers Corporate Standards
- Ensure Corporate health & safety policy (HACCP) is met at all times, - Ensure all health and safety, emergency, fire procedeures and food hygiene requirements are complied to and implemented, - Ensure that the food meets Corporate & statutory health & safety requirements - Promote a positive perception of London School at all times both internally & externally - Attend corporate management meetings as requested - Ensure the security of London School is maintained at all times - Adhere to all Corporate policies and procedures
Personnel skills
- Experience in both hotel & Michelin star restaurants - Experience in budget management, computer skills, - Essential qualifications as NVQ level 3 or equivalent, - Minimum of Intermediate Health & Hygiene Certificate - Excellent organiational and Communication skills - Team player - Qualification level 2 - Principles of COSHH - Qualification "first aid at work" - Qualification "fire warden"
